Opening the Gates to the World of Jura Wines
Jura, A Legacy of Terroir and Tradition
Embark on a private wine tour in Jura, where the echoes of centuries past meet the rich flavors of today. Traverse the Jura Wine Route, a path that weaves through time, leading you to vineyards and cooperative wineries where winemakers continue age-old traditions. Along this historic journey, you will taste wines from the seven AOC-approved wine districts, each with its own story and character.
As you wander through the undulating hills and deep valleys of the Jura, you’ll discover a landscape dotted with ancient vineyards, hidden caves, cascading waterfalls, and towering cliffs, all of which have shaped the region’s heritage. The Arbois tour in Jura unveils a timeless connection between the land and its people, as these vineyards are among the oldest in France, dating back centuries. Stretching nearly 80 km from Salins-les-Bains to Saint-Amour, this fertile terroir has long been celebrated for producing red, white, and rosé wines, as well as sparkling and sweet wines, including the iconic vin de paille (straw-colored wine) and vin jaune (yellow wine).

Three Paths to Discovery
Jura is charming

Understanding the Jura wine region means taking a closer look at its endemic grape varieties.
For white wines, two stand out: Savagnin, known for its racy character and use in oxidative wines, and the more familiar Chardonnay. For red wines, three varieties shape the landscape: Poulsard, a symbol of lightness; Trousseau, with its distinctive animal notes; and Pinot Noir, which reveals a unique expression in this coldest region of France.
With such diversity—from Crémants to Vins Jaunes and Vins de Paille—a blind tasting is the perfect way to explore the depth of this little-known region, all while discovering picturesque villages like Château-Chalon.
Over the course of the day, around 20 wines will be tasted, coming from a range of wineries, from small independent vignerons to large internationally renowned estates, including those practicing natural and biodynamic viticulture.
We’ll also plan your lunch together, whether you’d prefer a restaurant, a meal with a winemaker, or a picnic featuring some prestigious bottles.
Departure can be arranged from Arbois, Paris, Lyon, Geneva, or another location—we’ll tailor everything together, and multi-day stays are entirely possible. Overall, you can expect a leisurely day of around eight hours, dedicated to savoring life, wine, and the joy of good company.
Jura, Journey from the 60s

The aim of this day is to please old wine lovers - we know they exist because we do too!
The day is more or less similar to the past offer, except that lunch will be in a 19th-century manor house privatized for the occasion.
During this moment, we’ll take the time to explore the decades of wines from the 1960s to the present day in Jura, with an 8-Jura selection of rare vintages Jura wine. Lunch will be simple, with local seasonal produce typical of Jura gastronomy.
We recommend this offer for groups of 4 travelers or more.
Jura, Close to nature

We like lively wines—and so do you.
This is a day designed for fans of natural and biodynamic wines, where winemaking stays close to the land, guided by free and inventive styles that often yield bold, disruptive flavors.
You’ll meet three winemakers directly, each working with different approaches such as organic or biodynamic viticulture.
The day includes visits to small wineries, immersive walks through the vines with explanations of non-interventionist practices, winery tours highlighting sulphur-free vinification, and barrel tastings.
In total, around 20 wines will be tasted throughout the day.
We’ll plan your lunch together, choosing what suits you best—whether that’s a restaurant, a meal with one of the winemakers, or a picnic centered around prestigious wines.
Departure can be arranged from Arbois, Paris, Lyon, Geneva, or another location; we’ll tailor this together, and multi-day stays are absolutely possible. All in all, expect a relaxed, eight-hour experience, taking time to enjoy life in the company of good people and great wines.

Lovers of wine, art, travel and gastronomy, always on the move in France and around the world to learn from the differences.
We all met during our studies, in European wine society. We all have different interests, but wine and its precise tasting conditions are what brought us together.
We share these moments of life all year round and spend around twenty days a year in the Jura region to magnify this region's art of living.
